Friday 13 November 2026 – A dinner featuring food and wine pairings ✨
We’re off to Burgundy for this latest Winemaker’s Dinner!
We are delighted to welcome two exceptional estates, the Domaine Marcel Couturier in Mâcon and the Domaine Richoux in Irancy.
Richoux Estate
Domaine Richoux tells the story of two brothers from a family of winegrowers in Irancy, the village where they grew up alongside their parents and grandparents. Today, they carry on this legacy of winemaking with respect and a commitment to excellence.
The estate is situated in Irancy, near Auxerre, on the edge of Burgundy, close to Chablis and Vézelay, and just two hours from Paris.
The Irancy appellation is distinguished by its exclusive production of Burgundy red wines, with Pinot Noir as its signature grape variety.
The two brothers now cultivate 18 hectares of organically certified vineyards. Deeply committed to Pinot Noir, they take great care to bring out the unique character of Irancy’s finest wines, respecting the personality of each vintage to ensure it is faithfully reflected right through to bottling.
From vine to glass, every stage (planting, harvesting, ageing, bottling and marketing) is carried out directly at the estate.
Founded by Marcel Couturier, the estate produced its first vintage in 2005. Its winery is nestled in the commune of Fuissé, overlooking the village of Loché, Mâcon and the vast Bresse plain.
Today, Marcel is joined on the estate by his children, Cladie and Auxence. The whole family shares the same passion: growing grapes, making wine and maturing the wines.
The estate offers the full range of appellations from the southern Mâconnais, including Pouilly-Loché, the smallest commune-level appellation in southern Burgundy, covering just 32 hectares. Deeply committed to nature and mindful of biodiversity, the estate naturally turned to organic farming with Auxence’s arrival in 2018, and then to biodynamic farming in 2019.
